GTA is inclusive of persons with all tracking interests, with an emphasis on helping others through the use of tracking skills, and our logo incorporates this theme as well.

The track in the middle of our logo represents the person we are tracking, which is central to our mission. The fact that the track is diagonal to the Big Dipper and the North Star means that this person is not on the expected path, either lost or missing. The Big Dipper pointing to the North Star is representative of our desire to be skilled in navigating in nature. The bear track in the border at the bottom of the logo represents us, the trackers, and our willingness to humble ourselves below others while boldly and tenaciously following sign until we find our subject.
